Developing Boundaries Around Your Life part 3
DEVELOPING BOUNDARIES AROUND YOUR LIFE (Part 3)
In my former thoughts on boundaries, I reasoned with you on why you should build boundaries around six major areas of life – your THOUGHTS, TIME, TEMPLE TERRITORY, TONGUE, and TALENT. I hope you found it helpful. In conclusion, I will give two more areas of your life that also need boundaries.
The next area is boundaries around your TREASURE. There is a reason why they call some departments in the banks treasury department. As a young person growing up, you need to start learning how money works and build boundaries around any money that comes your way. Otherwise, you will spend every money that comes your way and go hungry the next day. As a young person, know this and know peace: you need to learn that it is not everything that enters your pocket that you eat.
The second leg of treasure is your character. Money is good, but without character, it can be dangerous. The next treasure that you need to guard and protect is your character and virtues. The inside of you is full of treasures, and you need to build boundaries around it. Because of this, you need to be careful about the character traits you transmit into your life. Your character is the sum total of you. If you preserve it, it will preserve your life. Develop traits like patience, tolerance, forgiveness, and kindness into your life. Please do you understand? This can also be tied to your Temple.

The last area where I believe you need to build boundaries against are TEMPTATIONS.
Temptations in themselves are innocent. It is when you court them and eventually fall prey to them that they become harmful and sinful. Temptations are real, and any young person who wants to go far has to be careful about the temptations that come into his or her territory.
If you are careless about temptations, you will fall into it several times. If you joke with temptations, temptations will equally joke with you. It is temptations that develop into SIN when fallen into.
Joseph was tempted, but he succeeded because he had strong boundaries. This is what he said: HOW CAN I DO THIS WICKED THING AND SIN AGAINST MY GOD.
Amnon also had the same temptation, but with the help of Jonadad, his cousin, he fell flat for it. MAY YOU NOT FALL FLAT IN JESUS’ NAME.
Dear friend, I have taught you, by these articles, eight areas where I believe you need boundaries. THOUGHT, TIME, TALENT, TERRITORY, TONGUE, TEMPLE, TREASURE, AND TEMPTATIONS.
If you look at them carefully, you will realize that they are closely related in operation. Your carelessness with one can lead to the crushing of another. If you don’t control your territory, for example, your thoughts and temple can suffer for it. It can also open the gates for temptations to flood your life. Do the permutations yourself.
I wish you well and watch out on a full book on this one day.
May the Lord help you to succeed, and may you please Him always.
For the love of God, Society and Young People.
Blessings
