Bishop Dag Clarifies Issues About The Consecration Of Women Into The High Office Of Episcopal Sisters.
Before religious people start throwing punches at the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse group of Churches, the founder and Bishop of the church has taken time to explain the reason behind the consecration of women into the High Office of the Church.
Speaking at the just ended Consecration of Bishops and Episcopal Sisters , he advanced reasons behind the elevation of women into such offices which are mostly associated with men.
According to him even though the church recognize the fact that the twelve who worked closely with Jesus were all men, the role of women in the early church and the church today cannot be over emphasized.
As a man who has always stood for the course of women, he made the following clarifications
- The Bible is clear about how God used women like Deborah , Jael, Esther and the mother of Jesus in different times to accomplish great things for God
- He made the Point that women were also part of the people who received the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. The prophesy in Joel chapter two did not exclude women

It was on the strength of these that about 9 women were elevated to the high office of Episcopal Sisters in the Church. These roles meant bigger responsibilities to these women who were already serving in respective capacities in the UD-OLGC for decades
He also used the opportunity to explain that in the world where equality and gender is being misunderstood, the consecration of the women is not in any way endorsing such abnormalizes.
