It is said that not everyone will stand with you in the storms. This is a fact of life but when it happens to you personally, you will understand that is easier said than experienced. We all need to pray that God will keep us close to trusted people in our hard times.

In our earlier story about Funny Face, we shared the situations he went through for a particular season of his life.

Today we want to tell you about one of the people who stood for him when it was not fashionable to do so.

The friendship between Funny face and his manager, popularly called Genesis goes to show that truly, there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

Indeed, the story of Funny Faces’ restoration cannot be complete without his longtime friend who also doubles as his manager.

In a chat with KSM on his show, Genesis gave a little account of how it all started and how he stood with his long-time friend.

According to him, it came to a time when he will not even listen to him. Sometimes, he will even insult him. I will take his phone and warn him not to go on social media, he will agree but stylishly trick me and run away with the phone, he recalled.

He revealed that he decided to stick with his long-time friend when it was not fashionable to do so. People even advised him to stop associating with him. Some even advised him to embarrass Funny Face publicly so that he, Genesis will trend on social media.

As far as he was concerned, they have been friends for years even before he became the popular Funny Face that people know. He therefore decided to stand by him even though things were not okay.

Moreover, he revealed that Funny Face entrusted his children into his care should he lose his life amid the difficulties. That was the level of bonding they had.

He also revealed that he normally prayed for him and even fasted on his behalf for God’s intervention.
