A few years ago, I wrote a book entitled, QUESTIONS YOU MUST ANSWER IF YOUR RELATIONSHIP MUST WORK.

All I sought to do in that book was to raise some important questions that in my estimation, every young person seriously contemplating marriage must attempt to answer.

I asked eight solid questions that are worth paying attention to. The question of authority for example dealt with issues relating to whether you have committed your relationship to God. It asked whether your parents and Pastor are aware of your decision.

Another question I explored was what I called the question of sincerity. Over here, I asked a very harmless question. Are you cheating on Jesus? I further explained that these days, what we hear mostly from would-be partners is this?  He/she cheated on me.

Well, there is indeed such a thing as cheating on someone n a relationship but I make the point that anytime you both indulge in sexual immorality as believers in Christ, you both would be are you both have succeeded in cheating on Jesus.

Why do you both compromise on Christian sexual standards and then accuse your partner when he or she goes behind you to cheat on you?

This is where the phrase from Pastor Kingsley comes in: If you cheat with him, he will cheat on you.

Let’s be straight over here. If you are a Christian, you don’t need any exegesis of scripture to understand the fact that God is displeased whenever we hve sexual encounters with someone outside the marriage.

In the name of modernity and embracing new philosophies, young Christians have decided to be relative when it comes to sexual matters.

Now, according to Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, one of the reasons why you have to desist from pre-marital sex at all costs is that you will reap its repercussions if you don’t take care.

If you decide to compromise with your partner when you know it is wrong, why are you surprised when he starts cheating on you in marriage? You gave him your body when you were only dating, and now that you are married, you suddenly realize that he is secretly cheating on you.

This has destroyed many homes and marriages. It has literally sucked the life out of relationships. The truth is that it started when you started cheating with him.

Are you a single young man or lady reading this? I hope you get the lesson here. What you don’t want to happen in your marriage, don’t plant it in your single years.

He who does not have any problem cheating with you may certainly have no problem cheating on you when he eventually marries you.

I will summarize it this way: fornicating with a would-be partner is like cheating on Jesus who bought you with his precious blood. When you now marry and he begins to cheat on you, just remember you both did it to Jesus.

These ideas seem colloquial to many young folks of today, but I believe you reading this will make an informed choice and do things that will please your God. STOP CHEATING  WITH HIM IF YOU DON’T WANT HIM TO START CHEATING ON YOU.
