If there is anything that mortal men seek among many other things, It is the ability to grow, improve, and progress.

Life in itself is not static. God in his mercy keeps on showering us with opportunities for growth and progress.

In as much as we admire and cherish this principle called growth, it is sad that we fall short of developing the necessary attitude that brings growth.

Our world is full of many examples  of people who progressed and achieved in their respective callings and the principles they adhered to.

One of the least talked about principles is the principle of staying connected to your source.

The source of a thing is the life wire of that thing. The strength and longevity of any living thing reside in its source. We can say therefore that the source of a thing is the sustainer of that very thing.

So, let me ask you one question. Do you want growth? Are you interested in becoming the best version of yourself? If yes, I do is your answer, then there is work for you.

Firstly, you have to identify that source, and secondly, stay connected to that source.

What is it that turns you on to be very productive?

What is it that makes you want to give your best and be your best?

What makes you fulfilled at the end of your day?

The responsibility is on you to know and appreciate your source and stay glued to that source any day any time.

Take for example matters relating to your salvation and eternity. It is written that salvation is not in any other name but in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). This singular confession can become the source of your salvation if only you believe.

Furthermore, the more you stay connected to this source of your salvation, the more fulfilling your life becomes.

A human being needs to know his source of strength in every area of life. From work to health to wealth etc.

Happy are you when you find it, and fulfilled you will become when you stay connected to your source of strength.

Is it not surprising that rivers dry up when they are disconnected from their source? Will electric power flow through a cable that is disconnected from the source?

Will water flow when the pipe is cut off from the mother pipe? So you will not be able to cope if you are disconnected from your source of hope, strength, and vitality.

I pray God will give you understanding in Jesus’ name.
