He was full of praise for the church in Nigeria and the work it was doing to save souls and all that goes with it. Today, for instance, the Glory Dome in Abuja seats a hundred thousand worshipers (100,000).
However, he lamented the Nigerian society as a whole. He asked why the Nation with the greatest revival today should have one of the highest rankings on matters relating to corruption. He lamented that the corruption in Nigeria puts a stain on the revival of the church,
According to him, what the Nigerian church needs now more than ever is a reformation. Just as people like Martin Luther and the like did in years gone by, he believes that the church in Nigeria has come to a point where things need to change.

Historically, the church has been involved in changing the mindset of people and societies. If we lose our saltiness as a church, the intended purposes of God cannot be realized.
As for Nigeria as a Nation, we all need to pray, work and hope that she succeeds. If Nigeria succeeds, it will eventually affect the entire African continent.
